The Seattle Polo & Equestrian Club is proud to announce James Beard award winning chef Edouardo Jordan as our catering partner. Edouardo created Food with Roots, a retail brand that tells soulful stories through food and fashion. Upon graduation from Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando, he apprenticed at The French Laundry as well as with salumists in Parma, Italy. He then honed his skills at Per Se and Lincoln Ristorante in New York, before heading to Seattle where he made a name for himself at Sitka & Spruce and Bar Sajor as Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine, respectively. In 2015, he opened his first restaurant Salare, named Best New Restaurant in America in 2016 by Eater National. In 2017, he opened his second restaurant JuneBaby. In 2018, Chef Jordan won both the James Beard Awards for Best Chef: Northwest, and Best New Restaurant for JuneBaby.

After-school All-stars
The Seattle Polo Party believes in giving back to the community and is proud to support After-School All-Stars . After-School All-Stars is one of the country’s largest nonprofit organizations working to close the opportunity gap for low-income youth. Compromised of 19 chapters, All-Stars programs are currently operating at 725 school-year sites and summer camps in 78 cities across the country. The Puget Sound chapter has served the greater Puget Sound area since 2016.

Our Mission
After-School All-Stars provides free, comprehensive, year-round out of school time programs that keep students safe and help them succeed in school and in life. We want our All-Stars to be safe and healthy, graduate high school and college, find careers they love, and give back to their communities. Along with our school partners, we provide opportunities for students to develop skills, knowledge, healthy relationships, and positive habits they need to succeed!
